Safety Directors: You told us that you and your team live in six systems. You told us your team wastes time with data entry keeping all rosters synced in every system. And when someone accidentally puts an “O” for an “0,” the consequences can be a driver doesn’t get paid for his or her first week — and no one catches it till after the driver tells you.
We’re on a mission to give you all the data you need to run Safety and Recruiting in one spot, which is why we’re changing the name of our software to DriverHub. We’re making the declaration that DriverHub will be the place you start your day to prioritize your daily to do list.
What’s changing? The name. DriverHub was previously known as A-Suite Recruit and A-Suite Comply. But the core features will remain the same to give you the ability to manage driver recruiting and compliance in one system. The difference you’ll notice is we’re pulling data from your existing systems into the dashboard you need to start your day.
You’ll still take action in the systems where you manage telematics, ELDs, CSA and training, and your DriverHub dashboard will tell you what actions you need to prioritize first. You’ll see if you need to work a qualified new candidate, address a CSA issue or coach a driver.
In addition, Avatar is launching a new Training Marketplace, which replaces A-Suite Train, to give you a wider selection from new content providers.
“This is a rebrand, not a remake of the product,” says Avatar President Scott Rea. “We studied our clients extensively in 2024 and we kept hearing the same unsolved problem: ‘I just want to have everything in one place — not on paper, not in multiple systems and not in spreadsheets.’”
To solve Safety Directors’ primary concern, Avatar is doubling down on its recruiting, compliance and training offerings and integrating with other best-in-class providers to bring all relevant information into one place: DriverHub.
DriverHub comprises the software products formerly known as A-Suite Recruit and A-Suite Comply. It’s ideal for motor carriers who:
Through quantitative and qualitative client research — including surveys, focus groups, interviews and in-person visits — Avatar analyzed Safety Directors’ top inefficiencies and biggest problems. Two themes emerged.
“We heard that all the systems Safety Directors use aren't connected — people were begging for everything in one spot for two reasons: 1. Each system has it’s specialty but you need to pull it all together to get the full story 2. Unconnected systems results in a lot of data entry which wastes time and is prone to human error” Rea says. “And we heard about the skyrocketing cost of insurance.”
DriverHub is designed to address both of these problems by providing all the information a Safety Director needs on one dashboard, which will reduce the time it takes to respond to accidents and insurance claims and ultimately drive down costs.
Integrations with other fleet software providers play a key role in DriverHub.
“As we fix the problem of getting all the data in one spot, we're going to stay in our lane and do what we do best — driver recruiting, onboarding and compliance — and we're going to partner with the best-in-class companies in other areas,” Rea says.
Avatar’s optional integrated add-ons are designed to give Safety Directors more tools at their fingertips in a single system.
“These are all tasks that are simple but time consuming for the safety department,” Rea explains. “When you multiply them times 100 there's half a day. Avatar gives you one place to manage and purchase all these things you’ll have to buy anyway.”

Within DriverHub is Avatar’s new Training Marketplace. It replaces A-Suite Train, which historically provided one training program for motor carriers: LLLC.
Avatar’s Training Marketplace is open to other training content vendors, offering Safety Directors a wider variety of options to meet their teams’ needs.
“We are inviting other content providers who want to join the party,” Rea says. “If you have training content you like, please make an intro — come one, come all!”
As always, you can bring your own content that you make or is provided to you from other third parties like your insurance company or vehicle manufacturer.
Avatar’s rebranding effort does not change its Professional Services offerings. These products allow Safety Departments to scale up their driver recruiting, compliance and training efforts quickly with Avatar’s help.
Avatar offers one-time and ongoing do-it-for-you recruitment services.

Avatar’s automation and artificial intelligence feature, AvatarAssistant, is another opportunity for Safety Directors to save time and money.
“AvatarAssistant takes off your plate all these little tasks that take a few minutes each but chew up much of your day. The goal is reduce your people dying the death by 1,000 cuts,” Rea said. “What if all your scanning and data entry went away, and all you have to do is confirm the AI is correct? That’s how you get half a day back.”
AvatarAssistant’s capabilities include driver notifications, a driver’s license scanner, a med card scanner, driver qualification questions/triggers and an AI call agent. There is much more to come.
In Q2, Avatar users will have access to the new DriverHub dashboard, combining recruiting, compliance and training features all in one place.
Further DriverHub integrations, AI capabilities and Training Marketplace partners are expected throughout 2025.
What’s not changing? Avatar’s signature purple hue and its commitment to helping motor carriers fill empty seats, pass every audit and bring drivers home safely.
